After decades of experience with world-class banks and project sponsors in corporate and project finance, Steve provides services to government and private institutions on investment in infrastructure and renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia.

Experience includes five years in the establishment of a renewable energy company – planning, legal documentation, patent applications and maintenance, negotiations with investors, shareholders, auditors, engineers and lawyers.

Seven years’ experience in Kuwait and Vietnam in project development - planning,
financing, procurement, project management, construction, lease/sale and operation of large-scale real estate projects.

Fifteen years corporate and project finance experience at senior levels with world-class financial institutions in Australia (Citibank), Germany (Commerzbank), Singapore (Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank) and in Sri Lanka as CEO of Citibank’s joint-venture investment bank. Transacted project finance deals in power, oil & gas, water, telecoms and mining.

Thorough knowledge of financial modeling, investment analysis, acquisition finance,
financial products, financial advisory, risk management, project management, property development, business development, internal controls and administration with strong operational, marketing and people skills. Fluent German, functional Mandarin.

 

Concurrently a Capital Investment Advisory Director.”

Graham has 29 years experience at the Kerry/Kuok Group in senior executive roles ranging from COO of the Baruun Naran semi-soft coking coal mine in the South Gobi Desert, Mongolia, to Indonesian Country Manager, to Group Treasury Hong Kong & Malaysia, and commodities trading.

 

Activities under management include the expansion of green-field oil palm plantations and sugar cane plantations, property development in Jakarta, hotel management, and oil & gas exploration.

 

The group treasury role covered debt (various instruments) and debt capacity management, due diligence, acquisitions, and private equity participations and co-investments.

 

Commodity trading roles included risk management and portfolio valuation, plus commodity financing.
